I just stumbled across this site, while trying to work on a Cub Scout project with my son. I can trace my family's movements directly back to this little town, so I will be coming back to visit here more often. Interesting to find direct access to my roots like this!

Fabulous website - researching my husband's biological genealogy and have found out that he is related to a strand of the Power family from this area. His grandfather being John Francis Power b 1914 who then moved to Scotland. Looks like a lovely place. Hope to visit on our travels soon !

Hi, just found your website and would like to say that its very good. I originally come from Carrick and the picture on the homepage is especially good. Who took it? Best of luck with your website. Its nice to see someone raising the profile of the town up. Thanks. Cathy

Great website! My Walsh and Whelan ancestors came from Carrick to the US in about 1850. Passed through Carrick very briefly on my first trip to Ireland in 2001, but didn't really get to spend any time. Wasn't near Carrick during a second trip in 2009, but defintely am lookig forward to a future visit.

Great website - my mum (Peggy Waters) - was from Treacy Park and I spent a lot of my youth enjoying the fun and freedom!! Recognised my grandad - Jackie Waters in the Lawlors pic!!
Great memories!! Wish I was 16 again and hope one day to visit for a trip down Memory Lane. Keep up the good work!

Hello. I was pleased to find a website that allowed me to see where my maternal family lived.
It seems like such a beautiful place and I know that I really want to visit.
