Excellent website for Carrick! I think this is exactly what the people of our town are looking for in news, features on the past and present people, places, and events that make OUR TOWN special!

Hi Robert, Just had a quick glance and you appear to have put a lot of work into it. Must have a proper look when I have more time.
I love the photo on home page. Gives a wonderful impression from the very beginning. Best wishes to you and your family for a lovely Christmas and 2010.
Euge.

I like this site. Every town should have a website similar to this one. There is little point in having a community website with only static content on it. The interactive menu should ensure return visits. Best of luck with it.

I recently traced my great grandfather Thomas Butler's birthplace to Carrick on Suir. He lived on Greystone Street with his parents Michael and Catherine Butler until he emigrated in 1893. If anyone reading this might have a relationship to me I would be happy to hear from you.
This is a very useful site that I have not yet finished exploring. I was pleasantly surprised how prominently folks with my surname have figured in the history of Carrick on Suir!

I was having a look at the old photos on here when I came across one of my Nan, Mary Wells, dancing with a dark-haired lady. She was looking so pretty and happy it brought a lump to my throat. Thankyou for sharing your photos. :-)
